Mr. Raja Venkataraman

Mr. Raja Venkataraman was born in Kolkata India and Completed his graduation in Commerce from St Xavier’s College Kolkata and went on to become a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. He has a work experience of more than 37 years in diverse industries in India including automotive tires, Leather, Food & Beverages, Batteries Healthcare and Consumer goods. His career span has been across a number of organizations including Unilever, GE, Tyco and Philips and in diverse functional roles including Finance, Sourcing, Commodity Buying, Human Resources, Legal and Company secretarial and Business Development. He has been a CEO for over 13 years and CFO for over 10 years across Industry and a proven track record of delivering results consistent with the highest standards of Ethical values and Governance.

Raja has held a number of the position in Industry associations, participated and spoken at a number of forums and has been credited with driving reverse innovation in Healthcare in India that has been widely recognized across India and abroad besides featuring as a Harvard business school case study.

The leadership talent that he has nurtured and groomed over the years who in turn hold CEO and CFO positions in India and abroad across various companies, is considered by him as the most satisfying accomplishment of his life.

Post his retirement in September 2017 he works as a freelance consultant, mentors and invests in Startups through his own venture formed with a few of his past colleagues. He is also a Director on the Board of a few companies in India.

Mr. Raja Parthasarathy

Mr. Raja Parthasarathy is a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley Infrastructure and is a nominee director of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure on the Board of HealthMap Diagnostics. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Raja was a partner with IDFC Private Equity (2007-14). Raja has also worked with Jet Airways, UBS, Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Raja received an MBA from INSEAD, an MA in Economics from Tufts University and a BA from Hamilton College. He also completed two years of PhD coursework in Economics at Duke University.

Mr. Harinarayan Sharma

Mr. Harinarayan Sharma has experience of over 35 years spread across Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Corporate and Structured finance

Hari is the Director of MEMG International Ltd and its various group entities located in Mauritius, Singapore, Malaysia and Ireland and represents the senior leadership/management of the group. He is also the Managing Director of MEMG CDC Ventures, a Private Equity Fund, which is a Joint Venture Fund between the Manipal Group and CDC plc, mandated to invest in Out of Hospital Healthcare in India.

Prior to this assignment which bought him to Mauritius, for close to 14 years, he spearheaded the domestic and global growth strategies of the healthcare delivery arm of the Manipal Group. In this role, he was involved in structuring the acquisition of hospitals, design development and planning for new hospitals, and raising multiple rounds Private equity. He has also worked in challenging business transactions in the education space (K12; Higher Education).

Prior to joining the Manipal Group, Hari led the regional investment banking teams (South & East India) with Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) Earlier, Hari has worked with Tata Steel Group (Jamshedpur) for 12 years playing an integral role in the Group Synergy and Capital Planning and in project finance for setting up of India’s first Sponge Iron plant.

Academic Qualification

Hari is a MBA graduate from the prestigious XLRI, Jamshedpur and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India

Personal Interests

His personal interests include sharing work experiences and learnings with budding youngsters in MBA schools. He enjoys music (sings as well) and in his spare time helps his wife in the design and development of human behaviour intervention programs

Mr. Ramoji

An industry veteran with over 27 years of experience across various roles in finance and business leadership. Prior to his joining the Manipal group in 2002, he was associated with the Taj group. At Manipal, Mr. Ramoji has led the finance vertical of Manipal group entity MHEPL as CFO and CS and since 2016, has been part of the central leadership team at Manipal corporate, helping the group across its various group companies as Director/mentor.

He has been a Director at HDPL since 2016 and is instrumental in shaping the journey of HDPL since inception.

Mr. Karthik Rajagopal

Mr. Karthik Rajagopal brings with him over 22 years of Marketing and Business Management experience in both Indian and MNC Healthcare organizations across many locations. Karthik is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Manipal Health Enterprises and is based out of Bangalore, India. His previous stints have been as Chief Executive Officer of Aster DM Healthcare, based out of Dubai. Regional Director of Fortis Healthcare. Other organizations that Karthik has worked for include Apollo Hospitals, Lintas, and Times of India. Karthik has significant experience in operations management, and marketing including brand management and integrated marketing communications, strategic alliances & growth, patient engagement, and consultant relations management.

Qualifications

Karthik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Bharathidasan University and a Master’s Degree in Management from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. He has also completed an Executive Program in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Ms. Neha Saraf

Neha has 15 years of experience across private investing and investment Banking. At Morgan Stanley, Neha focuses on investments in the infrastructure and allied sectors in India. Before joining Morgan Stanley, she spent 9 years as a senior member of the investment team at Aavishkaar Capital, an India-based impact-focused fund, where she deployed, managed and exited investments across multiple sectors. Prior to Aavishkaar, she spent 5 years with Goldman Sachs in their investment banking division in Mumbai and Bangalore. She has done her Bachelors in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and MBA from SIBM, Pune. In her free time Neha loves to spend time with her family and kids, enjoys reading and listening to music.
